Follow-up on close up photography

This is partly to test out how my posts get displayed in facebook, and partly to follow up a comment about the technicalities of close-up photography. This is to show that it is quite feasible to get good detail with a bridge camera, in this case my Sony RX10 mk4. There was no wind and this mayfly is dead, so I took a chance with 1/250th shutter speed at f4, ISO 160. The lens was at 40mm and the image cropped to less than half its size.
